Salary: Up to £39,500 per annum

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. Your role will involve:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor and enhance foster parents' practices.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.

What You Need

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that combines quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents. You will be expected to produce excellent reports and meet strict deadlines.
