At Fostering People, we are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our dynamic team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home while supporting Foster Parents across the beautiful East Midlands, primarily in Derby and Derbyshire, with some involvement in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Your Role
As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will:
- Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of Foster Parents.
- Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.
- Collaborate closely with a variety of agencies and professionals to enhance our services.
What We’re Looking For
We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Good IT skills with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration.
- Recent experience in fostering and services for children is desirable, but we welcome less experienced candidates as well.
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
- A shared creative vision and drive to make a difference, whether you’re new to fostering or an experienced professional.

This part-time, home-based position comes with a competitive salary of up to £24,930.29 per annum (£41,550.49 FTE), along with:
