Your New Role

Are you a qualified electrician looking for a dynamic environment where your skills can truly shine? Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is on the lookout for a confident and organized Assistant Lead Electrician to help maintain, modify, and install electrical systems across our iconic studio site.

In this hands-on role, you’ll:

• Support the Lead Electrician in managing a skilled team of electricians.
• Coordinate subcontractors to maintain critical WB assets.
• Monitor productivity and ensure safe working practices are upheld.
• Organize workflows, coach team members, and resolve issues.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks or delegate them as needed.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Plan, organize, and execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records, including sign-off sheets and compliance records.
• Monitor health and safety compliance, ensuring correct PPE is worn.
• Supervise and instruct on small installation works and modifications.
• React to emergencies with a focus on implementing effective solutions.
• Audit and review stock levels to ensure critical spares are always available.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Experience with site plant equipment (training provided).
• Working knowledge of industrial and commercial systems.
• Technologically proficient with Electrical and Automation systems.
• Full UK driving license.

Aspirational Qualifications & Experiences

• Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
• BS 7671 Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
• Knowledge of Electricity Supply Regulations and the Electricity at Work Act.
• JIB/ECS card and 2391, inspecting and testing would be advantageous.
• NVQ Level 3.

Working Conditions

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the studio. Please note that WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary.
