Are you ready to make a splash in the world of water infrastructure? We’re on the lookout for passionate Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic Southern Water team based in Falmer and Chatham. Location & Flexibility

You'll have the flexibility to work remotely, with just 3 days a week required on-site. Our full-time hours are 40 hours per week, but we’re open to condensed working, part-time, or job share arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be an integral part of our Commercial team, focusing on controlling costs and maximizing value. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Manage project finances, including preparing applications for payment and monitoring costs.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Support procurement activities and provide insightful commercial evaluations.
• Identify changes and assist with Change Control procedures.
• Ensure all contractual notifications are accurately in place.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You have experience with NEC contracts and Target Costs.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy building relationships across teams.
• You have a background in the construction, water, or civil infrastructure sectors.
• You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• You possess strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with clients.
