With class sizes capped at 6 pupils, each classroom is supported by a qualified teacher and up to 2 teaching assistants. We focus on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as various diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and more.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Secondary Science GCSE Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Support the class team in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors.
• Monitor pupil progress and collaborate with staff to meet individual needs.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips.
• Build positive relationships to enhance learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree-level education
• Experience teaching GCSE Science at the secondary level
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Strong behavior management skills
• A commitment to ongoing professional development
• A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
