We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Social & Paid Media Executive to join our talented team at our office in Bristol on a permanent basis. You will have the chance to work across all things social media, as well as helping to manage and grow the overall paid media presence for Funky Pigeon.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion in social media and digital marketing, who can help drive our strategy forward. You will ideally have bags of initiative, be pro-active and hardworking, enjoy a challenge, take pride in your work and have a solid understanding of digital marketing.

Reporting into the Search Marketing & Content Manager, you will be part of a friendly marketing team, and be supported in your role by your manager, various in-house departments and an experienced digital agency.

What you'll be doing:
Working with the social media team on the day to day management of all organic social media channels. This will involve everything from the ideation to the creation and scheduling of all types of posts
Contributing to the wider social media strategy by driving revenue, increasing followers, engagement and customer interaction. This will also include work with influencers, brand partnerships, along with your own ideas for campaigns/initiatives
Day to day management of paid social media campaigns. This will include the running of accounts, tweaking, optimising and analysing paid media campaigns
Paid ads creation. Working with the team to help create high quality images for all paid social media campaigns
Leveraging findings to inform paid media and social strategy and targeting to build better media plans
Reporting on performance of ads and demonstrating ROI
Keeping up-to-date with social media trends
Ensuring social media best practice is followed throughout the business

What we are looking for:
Relevant experience in a social or paid media role
Working knowledge and excellent understanding of all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn also helpful)
Working experience with Facebook Ads Manager and any other paid social media platforms
Ability to create high quality creatives/graphics for both organic and paid social media. This can be via Photoshop, or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a high standard of written English and copywriting
Strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage own workload and juggle multiple projects at any given time
A self-starter who can think creatively and strategically, able to research and investigate issues to offer solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable, but not essential
Online video (YouTube etc.), display, app advertising knowledge/experience
Influencer marketing experience
PPC knowledge/experience
