Compensation
Salary:
- Unqualified: Base salary of £27,866.34, with potential earnings up to £33,447.67 including sleep-in shifts.
- Qualified: Base salary of £29,181.57, with potential earnings up to £34,762.90 including sleep-in shifts.

Your Role
As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our children’s residential home. Your mission? To support young people facing challenges with resilience, honesty, and strong organizational skills. You will be dedicated to delivering exceptional care that empowers each young person to achieve positive outcomes.
This is a permanent position with fantastic career growth opportunities and comprehensive training within a thriving organization. You’ll work an average of 38 hours per week on a 2 days on/4 days off shift pattern, including 2 sleep-ins. Plus, enjoy generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime, and a performance-related bonus!
Essential Skills
- Full manual driving licence
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear and organized records
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude
- Competence in completing daily records to meet statutory and policy standards
- Empathetic, patient, and supportive nature
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with young people
- Level 3 Children & Young People qualification, or a willingness to work towards it (fully funded)
