Job Details

• Contract Type: Part-Time, Term Time Only
• Salary: £19,790.40 FTE
• Hours: 20 hours per week (3pm - 7pm, Monday - Friday)
• Job Share Option: 10 hours per week, per person considered

Your Responsibilities

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff. Your tasks will include:

• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Emptying and cleaning bins
• Cleaning toilets and bathroom spaces
• Replenishing bathroom supplies
• Dusting, polishing, and straightening furniture
• Tidying communal areas and removing hazards
• Wiping down paintwork, skirting boards, and window ledges

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in cleaning large commercial buildings, preferably schools, colleges, or universities
• Able to lift and move heavy equipment
• Flexible and willing to take on various cleaning tasks
• Proficient in using a range of cleaning equipment and products
• A confident communicator

Additionally, you should be prepared to undergo training in health & safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding practices. An enhanced DBS Check will be required, and the cost will be covered by Kirby Moor School.
