As part of our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, you’ll be at the forefront of a fast-growing team dedicated to providing structured repair and servicing directly to our members.
Your Competitive Package
Enjoy a competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000. Plus, you have the option for guaranteed overtime, which can increase your base salary to £44,385, along with additional overtime and bonus opportunities!
- 40 hours per week with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, including 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Work Environment
You’ll be part of the Barnet cluster, covering areas like Barnet, Finchley, Totteridge, Whetstone, Hendon, and Golders Green. Your day starts with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll carry out:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
- Vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards

What You’ll Need
To join our team, you’ll need:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
