Are you ready to take on an exciting new role that puts you at the heart of our operations? The Supervisor Plus position at Butlin's is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our high standards and compliance are met, all while driving operational success.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Manager, you will be the operational powerhouse, ensuring that daily plans are executed flawlessly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating team tasks to meet fluctuating guest demands.
  • Ensuring high operational standards and guest experiences.
  • Covering accommodation primarily on intake days (Monday and Friday) and flexibly across departments as needed.
  • Coaching and supporting your team to achieve key targets, including add-on sales and promotions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the hands-on leader, guiding your team through key tasks and objectives.
  • Conduct CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as required.
  • Drive add-on sales and ensure stock availability for guests.
  • Monitor guest feedback and take action to enhance their experience.
  • Champion Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours.
  • Foster strong relationships across the resort and with central support teams.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management.

Focus Areas

As a Supervisor Plus, you will also support operational excellence in various areas:

Buffets

  • Food Safety Champion: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Creating a Warm Dining Experience: Ensure guests feel welcomed and well cared for.
  • Bay Replenishment & Food Quality: Oversee timely replenishment and quality of food items.
  • Coaching & Developing the Team: Provide on-shift coaching to enhance team capabilities.

Bars & Shops

  • Coaching & Developing the Team: Support team members in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Driving Sales: Maximize revenue through effective upselling and guest engagement.
  • Reducing Queues: Monitor guest flow and adjust team roles as needed.
  • Good Stock Practices: Maintain strong stock control and compliance.

Restaurants & QSRs

  • Championing Food Safety: Ensure adherence to food safety standards.
  • Delivering a Warm Dining Experience: Create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
  • Driving Upselling: Encourage team to recommend starters and desserts.
  • Effective Checkbacks: Ensure timely guest satisfaction checks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent leadership skills with a knack for coaching.
  • Strong attention to detail for audits and compliance.
  • Experience in guest-facing roles and handling queries.
  • A proven track record in driving sales and promotions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
