What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: Enjoy a base salary of £45,378 (including London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) with on-target earnings of up to £57,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Increase your earnings with guaranteed overtime options, bringing your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonuses.
- Flexible Hours: Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Your Role in SMR
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that focuses on planned, structured repairs and servicing. Here’s what you can expect:
- Work Environment: Cover the Barnet cluster, including Barnet, Finchley, and more, with a clear schedule of pre-booked jobs.
- Daily Tasks: Your day starts with a digital schedule, allowing you to focus on:
- Routine servicing
- Advanced diagnostics
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Member advice and vehicle safety checks

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
