As a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division, you’ll be part of a fast-growing team that focuses on structured repairs and servicing right from the comfort of our members' driveways or workplace car parks.
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this exciting position, you’ll enjoy:
- Routine Servicing: Carry out regular maintenance checks to keep vehicles in top shape.
- Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize cutting-edge mobile equipment to diagnose issues.
- In-Depth Repairs: Perform repairs typically done in a workshop, ensuring quality work.
- Member Interaction: Provide advice and recommendations based on your inspections.
- Safety Checks: Conduct vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles.
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Working Conditions
Enjoy a structured work environment with:
- A competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable).
- On-target earnings of up to £57,000 through bonuses and overtime.
- Core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- No emergency callouts or unpredictable shifts—just a clear digital schedule of pre-booked jobs.
