At the Integrated Services Programme (ISP), we’re not just another foster care agency; we’re pioneers in the field! Established in 1987 by a dedicated group of foster parents, we have over 30 years of experience in providing exceptional support to children and families. Our mission is simple: to put the child at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive, especially those who have faced challenging beginnings. Our integrated approach means that foster parents and children have access to a wide range of professionals, including social workers, educators, and therapists, all working together to create a nurturing environment.

What We Offer

  • £3,000 Car Allowance
  • 30 days of annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length of service + bank holidays
  • Company Pension
  • Life Assurance x2
  • Employee Discount Scheme
  • Medical Cash Plan

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to making a difference. Your role will involve:

  • Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
  • Regularly supervising allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

Are You the Right Fit?

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Has previous experience in children and families social work.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children’s services.
  • Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that requires excellent report writing skills and the ability to work to strict deadlines. You will also be responsible for quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents.

Join Us in Making a Difference!

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP. We are an equal opportunities employer and encourage applications from all qualified candidates.

At ISP, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff to share this commitment.
