Salary: £19,790.40 FTE
Working Hours:
- 20 hours per week: £11,308.90 (3pm - 7pm, Monday - Friday)
- 10 hours per week: £5,654.40 (3pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday)
Contract: Fixed Term, Term Time Only
Location: Brampton, Cumbria
About Our School

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Cleaner to join our friendly team. If you have a keen eye for detail, uphold high standards, and are passionate about delivering your best every day, this role could be the perfect fit for you!
We also welcome candidates interested in a job share role of 10 hours per week each.
Your Role Responsibilities
- Vacuuming and mopping floors to keep our spaces spotless
- Emptying and cleaning bins to maintain a tidy environment
- Cleaning toilets and bathroom areas for hygiene and comfort
- Replenishing bathroom supplies to ensure everything is stocked
- Dusting, polishing, and straightening furniture and surfaces
- Tidying communal areas and removing hazards
- Wiping down paintwork, including skirting boards and window ledges
About You
- Previous experience in cleaning large commercial buildings, preferably in a school, college, or university setting
- Able to lift and move heavy equipment with ease
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of cleaning tasks
- Proficient in using a range of cleaning equipment and products
- A confident and clear communicator
- Willing to undergo training in health & safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding practices
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with the cost covered by Kirby Moor School.
