Basic Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • Supporting the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to meet their needs.
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • Building strong relationships with students to foster interaction and positive learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Possess a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
  • Have previous successful teaching experience.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
  • Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
