Location: Long Eaton
Hours: 35 hours per week, Permanent
Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience

Your Role and Responsibilities
As our Principal Social Worker, you will:
- Support and deputise for the Registered Manager as needed
- Supervise team members to ensure effective functioning
- Empower foster parents to reach their full potential
- Monitor compliance with fostering standards
- Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals to prioritize safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Join an out-of-hours rota to provide managerial support to Social Workers
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced social worker who:
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
- Has experience working with children and young people, including those looked after
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and fostering standards
- Has strong leadership skills and a passion for making a difference
- Can work autonomously while being an effective team player
- Is willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to a car
