Position: Senior/Supervising Social Worker
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
Hours: 21 hours per week over 3 days
Salary: Up to £24,930.29 per annum (£41,550.49 FTE)
Location: Home-based, supporting Foster Parents across the East Midlands, primarily in Derby and Derbyshire, with some households in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Your Role:
As a Senior/Supervising Social Worker, you will be an integral part of our friendly and dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting, training, assessing, supporting, and supervising a diverse range of Foster Parents.
- Ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children.

We are looking for someone who is:
- An enthusiastic and committed self-starter, able to work independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents.
- Equipped with excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in IT, capable of producing high-quality reports.
- A qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration.
- Experienced in fostering and services for children (though less experienced candidates are welcome to apply).
- Knowledgeable about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
- Driven by a shared creative vision, whether you’re new to fostering or an experienced supervising social worker.
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time, home-based position with a competitive salary of up to £24,930.29 per annum (£41,550.49 FTE), depending on experience, along with a car allowance and excellent benefits.
