Salary: Up to £43,626.47 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Recruiting across North Wales - Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham

Your Responsibilities

  • Support Foster Parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in care
  • Monitor the suitability and competence of Foster Parents
  • Provide regular supervision in line with FCA’s Operational Standards
  • Collaborate with the child’s network to identify needs
  • Ensure compliance with key documentation for children and Foster Parents
  • Attend meetings and provide reports for commissioning teams
  • Promote participation of children/young people in agency development
  • Participate in an ‘out of hours’ support service
  • Conduct occasional initial home visits and Form F assessments

What You Need

  • A Social Work qualification
  • Professional registration with Social Work Wales or equivalent
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays
  • Confidence in transporting children in challenging situations
  • Full driving licence
