Unqualified: Base salary of £27,866.34, earning up to £33,447.67 with sleep-in shifts
Qualified: Base salary of £29,181.57, earning up to £34,762.90 with sleep-in shifts

Your Role

In this fulfilling position, you will support young people facing challenging behaviors. Your role will require flexibility, resilience, honesty, and strong organizational skills. You’ll be committed to delivering exceptional care that empowers each young person to achieve positive outcomes.

This is a permanent role with fantastic career prospects and comprehensive training within a growing organization. You’ll work an average of 38 hours per week on a 2 days on/4 days off shift pattern, including 2 sleep-ins. Plus, enjoy generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime, and a performance-related bonus!

Essential Skills

• Full manual driving license
• Ability to work independently while maintaining organized records
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team player attitude
• Competence in completing daily records to statutory and policy standards
• Empathetic, patient, and supportive nature
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage, motivate, and encourage young people

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with young people
• Level 3 Children & Young People qualification, or a willingness to work towards it (fully funded)
