What We Offer
- Competitive Salary: Start with a base salary of £45,370 (including London Weighting Allowance, if applicable) and the potential to earn up to £57,000 with on-target earnings.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Choose to work extra days at £30 per hour after your first month, giving you the flexibility to boost your income significantly.
- Work Schedule: Enjoy a 40-hour work week with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
- Locations: Opportunities available in London & Greater London, including Barnett, Bromley, Enfield, Heathrow, Hillingdon, Holloway, Richmond, Shepherd's Bush, Streatham, and Wembley.

Your Daily Adventure
Your day kicks off with a clear digital schedule, where each job is pre-booked and the member is expecting you. You’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations based on your inspections
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With SMR, you’re not just reacting to breakdowns; you’re delivering planned work that you can prepare for. From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics.

What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
