At ISP School, located in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we provide specialist education for 7-18-year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters self-discipline, engagement, and a love for learning.
Position: Part-Time Teacher
Contract: Part-time, 15 hours per week (2 days), term time only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,590 pro rata
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Battle
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our teaching team, you will:
- Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students.
- Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help students become responsible citizens.
- Motivate students to embrace learning and develop a passion for education.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
- Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, especially in Maths and/or English.
- Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective teaching practice.
- Understand therapeutic approaches to education and adapt your teaching to meet individual needs.
- Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire students.
