Your Role
As a Referrals Officer, you will be the vital link between local authorities, foster families, and social workers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing referrals from local authorities
- Using key information and matching criteria to ensure placements meet children's needs
- Finding creative solutions to foster placement requests
- Building positive relationships through effective communication
We are looking for someone who is:
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Skilled in communication, both written and face-to-face
- Organized with strong administrative skills
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families
Experience in the children's services sector is a plus, but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and an excellent induction into the role.
