Hours: 35 hours per week, Permanent
Salary: £45,000 - £47,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

Your Role
As our Principal Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in:
- Supporting and deputising for the Registered Manager as needed
- Supervising team members to ensure effective functioning
- Empowering foster parents to reach their full potential
- Monitoring compliance and promoting best practices
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and professionals to prioritize safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Joining an out-of-hours rota to provide managerial support to Social Workers
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced social worker who is passionate about making a difference. Here’s what you need:
- A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those in care
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation and fostering standards
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously while being a team player
- Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with children, foster parents, and professionals
- A full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car
Working Conditions
Flexibility is key! You may need to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the agency and the families we support.
