Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge? The Supervisor Plus role at Butlin's is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you'll be the driving force behind our operational success, ensuring that our high standards and compliance are met every day.
Your Mission
Reporting to the Manager, you will:
- Ensure daily operational plans are executed flawlessly.
- Guide your team to be in the right place at the right time, adapting to guest demand while maintaining exceptional service.
- Primarily oversee accommodation on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility to support other departments throughout the week.
Your Responsibilities
As a Supervisor Plus, you will:
- Be the hands-on operational leader, ensuring your team meets key tasks and objectives.
- Coach your team to achieve targets, such as retail upselling and add-on sales.
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance across various departments.
- Monitor guest experiences and feedback, taking action to enhance satisfaction.
- Foster strong relationships across the resort and with central support teams.
- Champion Butlin’s values and leadership behaviors.
Key Focus Areas
In addition to your accommodation duties, you will also support:
Buffets
- Lead by example in food safety and hygiene.
- Create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our guests.
- Oversee food quality and bay replenishment.
- Coach and develop your team to deliver exceptional service.
Bars & Shops
- Drive sales and enhance guest interactions.
- Reduce queues and ensure efficient service.
- Maintain strong stock practices and brand standards.
Restaurants & QSRs
- Champion food safety and hygiene standards.
- Deliver a friendly, engaging dining experience.
- Coach the team on upselling and effective checkbacks.
Splash Pool
- Supervise pool operations and ensure safety compliance.
- Deliver a welcoming environment for guests.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Sports & Activities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities.
- Supervise team members and promote guest participation.
- Ensure all activities adhere to health and safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Excellent leadership skills and a passion for coaching.
- Strong attention to detail for audits and compliance.
- Experience in guest-facing roles, handling queries and complaints.
- A track record of driving sales and promotions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
