Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge? The Supervisor Plus role at Butlin's is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our operational standards are top-notch and that our guests have an unforgettable experience. Reporting to the Manager, you’ll be the hands-on driver of success, guiding your team to meet daily operational plans while adapting to the ever-changing needs of our guests.
This role primarily focuses on accommodation during our busy intake days on Monday and Friday, but flexibility is key as you may also support other departments throughout the week. Your mission? To ensure our guests receive nothing short of an amazing experience!
Your Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Be the go-to person, ensuring your team is effectively executing key tasks and objectives.
- Coaching & Development: Mentor your team to achieve targets, such as retail upselling and promotions.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as needed.
- Guest Experience: Monitor guest feedback and NPS, taking action to enhance their experience.
- Communication Champion: Ensure seamless communication between management and your team.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong connections across the resort and with central support teams.
- People Support: Assist with onboarding and performance management throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Focus Areas
1. Buffets
- Food Safety Champion: Lead by example in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
- Welcoming Atmosphere: Create a warm dining experience for our guests.
- Quality Control: Ensure timely replenishment of food and maintain presentation standards.
- Team Development: Provide on-the-job coaching to enhance team capabilities.
2. Bars & Shops
- Sales Driver: Maximize revenue through effective upselling and guest engagement.
- Dynamic Deployment: Adjust staffing based on guest flow to minimize wait times.
- Stock Management: Maintain strong stock control and ensure compliance with procedures.
3. Restaurants & QSRs
- Food Safety Leadership: Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance.
- Guest Engagement: Deliver exceptional service and resolve guest concerns promptly.
- Upselling Techniques: Coach the team to recommend starters and desserts effectively.
4. Splash Pool
- Pool Operations: Supervise daily operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Team Leadership: Guide and support lifeguards and pool staff during shifts.
- Guest Experience: Create a friendly environment and address guest queries.
5. Sports & Activities
- Activity Delivery: Plan and lead engaging sports and activities for guests of all ages.
- Team Supervision: Coach team members and allocate daily tasks effectively.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with safety procedures.
