Location
Nationwide – This is a site-based role in Tebay, Cumbria, with some flexibility for remote working.
Hours
Permanent, Full-time – 45 hours per week. We’re open to discussing flexible hours!
Salary
Enjoy a competitive salary of £40,000 – £45,000 per year, plus a £5,000 annual car allowance and additional benefits.

Your Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in:
- Managing commercial resources and supporting contract performance to achieve planned margins.
- Preparing and submitting valuations, claims, and contract performance information in line with project requirements.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting financial performance across work packages, providing clear and accurate reporting.
- Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risks, supporting timely resolution of issues.
- Supporting cash flow through accurate measurement, valuation, and commercial control of works.
What We’re Looking For
This role could be a perfect fit if you:
- Hold a construction-related degree or equivalent qualification.
- Have a full UK driving licence and are comfortable working in a site-based environment.
- Bring experience in a commercial role within a contractor environment, particularly in transportation or construction.
- Are confident using MS Office, especially Excel, to manage and interpret commercial data.
- Communicate effectively and enjoy building strong working relationships across project teams.
