Your New Role

Are you a qualified electrician looking to make a real impact? Join us at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as an Assistant Lead Electrician! In this hands-on role, you’ll support the Lead Electrician in maintaining, modifying, and installing electrical systems across our iconic studio site.

Your Responsibilities

As an Assistant Lead Electrician, you will:

• Plan, organize, and execute maintenance tasks, both planned and reactive.
• Monitor productivity and ensure safe working practices.
• Keep accurate records, including compliance and maintenance updates.
• Supervise and instruct a skilled team of electricians and subcontractors.
• React to emergencies and implement effective solutions.
• Manage in-house rotas, holiday requests, and time attendance.
• Audit stock levels to ensure critical spares are always available.

Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for candidates with:

• Experience with site plant equipment (training provided).
• Working knowledge of industrial and commercial systems.
• Technological proficiency in Electrical and Automation systems.
• Full UK driving license.

Aspirational Qualifications

If you have the following, we’d love to hear from you:

• Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
• BS 7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
• Knowledge of the Electricity Supply Regulations and the Electricity at Work Act.
• JIB/ECS card and 2391, inspecting and testing certification (advantageous).
• NVQ Level 3.

Working Conditions

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours will be carried out at our studio. Please note that WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs.
