The Supervisor Plus position at Butlin's is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be the main point of contact for your team, ensuring high standards and compliance across various departments while driving operational success.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Supervisor Plus, you will:
- Be the operational leader, ensuring your team effectively meets daily objectives.
- Coach and develop team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Monitor compliance and conduct audits to maintain high standards.
- Drive add-on sales and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships across the resort and with central support teams.
- Support the onboarding and performance management of team members.
Key Focus Areas
Your responsibilities will vary based on the department, including:
Accommodation
- Ensure smooth operations on intake days (Monday and Friday).
- Support other departments as needed to maintain high standards.
Buffets
- Champion food safety and hygiene standards.
- Create a warm, welcoming dining experience for guests.
- Oversee food quality and bay replenishment.
Bars & Shops
- Coach team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Drive sales and manage stock effectively.
- Reduce queues and ensure efficient service.
Restaurants & QSRs
- Ensure a friendly, engaging welcome for every guest.
- Drive upselling of starters and desserts.
- Monitor service flow and checkbacks for guest satisfaction.
Splash Pool
- Supervise pool operations and ensure safety compliance.
- Deliver a friendly environment for guests.
Sports & Activities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities.
- Ensure all sessions are safe and enjoyable for guests.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to coach your team.
- Strong attention to detail for audits and compliance.
- Experience in guest-facing roles and handling queries or complaints.
- A knack for generating new opportunities through sales and promotions.
- Experience in managing performance and delivering training.
Working Conditions
This role requires flexibility, as you will primarily cover accommodation on Mondays and Fridays, with the possibility of supporting other departments throughout the week based on operational needs.
