Your Role
As our new SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspiring and motivating pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative lesson presentations.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and professionals to maintain a high standard of education.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement and learning.
- Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures in alignment with our core values.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
- Successful experience in SEN teaching.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every pupil.
As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
