Salary: Up to £39,500 per annum

Your Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is passionate about fostering and committed to making a difference. In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, ensuring a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions, guiding foster parents in their practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making.

What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in children and families social work.
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
  • A full driving licence with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes quality assurance and training responsibilities for both prospective and current foster parents. You will need to be an excellent report writer and adept at meeting strict deadlines.
