Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and the children they care for. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload, ensuring high-quality supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments and planning.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:
- Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
- Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
- Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Possesses a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes both quality assurance and training roles for prospective and current foster parents. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by ISP.
