- Start and finish your day at home! Enjoy demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week, with optional overtime available.
Where You’ll Work
You’ll be part of the Leeds cluster, covering areas like Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley, Pudsey, Otley, and Garforth. We organize work locally, allowing you to focus on getting our members back on the road in your community.
Your Responsibilities
As a Roadside Technician in our Patrol division, you’ll:
- Deliver expert mechanical roadside repairs and vehicle diagnostics.
- Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
- Handle everything from flat batteries to complex fault-finding with quick, confident solutions.
You’ll tackle challenges head-on, making a real impact on the roadside while combining your technical expertise with outstanding member service.
What You’ll Need
- A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-qualification technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
- A customer-focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
We’ll set you up for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit provided.
