Are you ready to take on an exciting new role at Butlin's? The Supervisor Plus position is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our operational standards are top-notch and our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Reporting to the Manager, you'll be the hands-on driver of success, making sure daily operational plans are executed flawlessly. Your mission? To ensure our team is in the right place at the right time, managing fluctuating guest demands while maintaining high operational standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Be the go-to person, ensuring your team is effectively tackling key tasks and objectives.
  • Coaching & Development: Support and coach your team to achieve targets, including retail upselling and promotions.
  • Audit Responsibility: Oversee CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as needed.
  • Guest Experience: Monitor and enhance the quality of guest experiences in line with brand guidelines.
  • Communication Champion: Ensure clear communication flows from management to your team.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong connections across the resort and with central support teams.
  • People Support: Assist with onboarding and performance management throughout the employee lifecycle.

Role Details

The Supervisor Plus will primarily focus on accommodation on Mondays and Fridays, with flexibility to support other departments throughout the week. Your role will adapt based on operational needs, ensuring our guests receive an amazing experience every day.

Key Focus Areas

1. Food Safety Champion

  • Lead by example in maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure all team members follow correct procedures, including temperature checks and allergen management.

2. Creating a Warm, Welcoming Dining Experience

  • Greet guests with a friendly, personalized welcome that reflects the Butlin’s brand.
  • Maintain a comfortable environment for families, ensuring they feel well looked after.

3. Coaching & Developing the Team

  • Provide on-shift coaching to help team members build confidence and capability.
  • Support training of new starters, ensuring they understand buffet standards and guest interaction expectations.

About You

  • Excellent leadership skills with a knack for coaching and supporting your team.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in audit and observation activities.
  • Experience in guest-facing roles, adept at handling queries and complaints.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and promotions.
  • Effective communicator who can manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
