What You’ll Do
As a Data Analyst, you will:
- Manage a central SQL Server environment with SSRS reporting, pulling data from various third-party platforms.
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS, Power Automate, PowerShell, and batch scripts.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of stored procedures.
- Deliver self-service reporting to stakeholders across the organization.
- Handle a variety of ad-hoc data requests, analysis, and report development across our services.
This role offers a complex and meaningful environment where your work will directly support services for vulnerable children across the country. You’ll be part of a small team, which means your contributions truly matter!
What We’re Looking For
We seek a proactive problem-solver who thrives on challenges. If you encounter an unfamiliar issue, you dive in, explore, and find solutions rather than just seeking quick fixes. Here’s what you’ll need:
Technical Skills
- Strong T-SQL skills, including reading, writing, and troubleshooting queries.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and report development.
- Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Agent.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and formula writing.
- Exposure to PowerShell, CMD, VBA, or similar scripting is a plus.
- Experience with Power Automate and familiarity with SharePoint would be advantageous.
A SQL Server certification is a bonus, but what truly matters is your ability to deliver results!
Beyond the Technical
- A relentless curiosity and a passion for learning.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of challenges.
- Confidence in collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs.
- A genuine appetite for self-directed learning; this is essential for success in this role.
