Position: Referrals Officer - Fostering

Location: Belfast

Type: Permanent Part-Time (25 hours per week)

Working Days: Thursday and Friday, 9am-5pm; other days are flexible

Salary: £16,806.83 per annum (£23,529.57 FTE)

Your Role

As a Referrals Officer, you will be the vital link between Health and Social Care Trusts, foster families, and social workers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing referrals and ensuring placements are matched according to children's needs.
  • Utilizing your initiative to find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
  • Building positive relationships with colleagues and communicating confidently with professionals at all levels.

What We’re Looking For

We seek someone who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in the children’s services sector or a similar field.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to follow regulatory policies.
  • A passion for supporting children and families.

Don’t worry if you’re new to this role; full training will be provided!
