We are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our new solo children's home in London. Your Role
As our Registered Manager, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
- Lead staff practice and drive continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's ethos.
- Maintain robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
- Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring care plans and safeguarding procedures are implemented effectively.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
- Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
- Experience managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
- A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment where your leadership can have a meaningful and lasting impact on a child's life. This is a 40-hour per week role, where you will manage your own rota and participate in the on-call rota.
