Position: Referrals Officer - Fostering

Location: Belfast

Type: Permanent Part-Time (25 hours per week)

Working Days: Thursday and Friday, 9am-5pm; other days flexible

Salary: £16,806.83 per annum (£23,529.57 FTE)

Your Role

As our new Referrals Officer, you will be the vital link between Health and Social Care Trusts, foster families, and Social Workers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing referrals and ensuring placements are matched according to children's needs.
  • Using your initiative to find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
  • Building positive relationships with colleagues and communicating confidently with professionals at all levels.

While experience in the children's services sector is beneficial, we welcome candidates who can demonstrate strong administrative skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Don't worry—full training will be provided!
