Your New Role

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity as the Technical Services Manager at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making Of Harry Potter (WBSTL).

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead our Technical Services team, ensuring that all show-related aspects—like lighting, sound, video, and props—are maintained to the highest standards. You’ll collaborate with original filmmakers and top-notch suppliers to deliver a world-class visitor experience.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop the Technical Services team, fostering high performance and compliance.
  • Drive technical excellence by maintaining show systems and delivering preventative maintenance.
  • Champion health & safety and continuously improve processes for an enhanced visitor experience.
  • Oversee resource planning to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for effective planning and delivery of technical installations.
  • Act as Duty Manager to manage daily operations and technical delivery.
  • Manage departmental budget and supplier relationships to ensure cost control.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven management experience in a Technical Services team within the tourism or leisure industry.
  • Technical expertise in AV installations, electronics, and networked show control systems.
  • Strong project and supplier management skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Experience leading multi-skilled technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of facilities management and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (IPAF, PASMA, IOSH, NBOSH) are advantageous.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time role (40 hours a week) with a shift pattern that includes:

  • Regular weekend and evening work.
  • A high level of flexibility to meet business needs.

As an ambassador for our brand, you’ll support the Head of Show Experience and represent the team in various meetings.
