Your New Role...

Are you a skilled electrician eager to make a real impact? Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is on the lookout for a confident and organized Assistant Lead Electrician to help maintain, modify, and install electrical systems across our iconic studio site.

In this hands-on role, you’ll support the Lead Electrician in managing a talented team of electricians and coordinating subcontractors. You’ll be the go-to person for monitoring productivity and ensuring safe working practices. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, organizing, and executing maintenance tasks.
• Reporting progress and updates through various media outlets.
• Keeping accurate records, including compliance and sign-off sheets.
• Monitoring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring the site’s electrical and mechanical equipment is maintained for continuous operation.
• Supervising small installation works and modifications.
• Reacting to emergencies with effective solutions.
• Managing in-house rotas and holiday requests.
• Auditing stock levels to ensure critical spares are always available.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Plan and execute both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Supervise and instruct team members on installations and modifications.
• React promptly to emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Manage team schedules and ensure adequate support for business needs.
• Audit stock levels for critical spare parts.

Qualifications & Experiences...

• Experience with site plant equipment (training provided).
• Familiarity with trailers and forklifts (training provided).
• Working knowledge of industrial and commercial systems.
• Technological proficiency in Electrical and Automation systems.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) (training provided).
• Full UK driving license.

Aspirational Qualifications & Experiences...

• Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
• BS 7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
• Awareness of Electricity Supply Regulations and the Electricity at Work Act.
• JIB/ECS card.
• 2391, inspecting and testing certification is advantageous.
• NVQ Level 3.

Onsite Working

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours will be carried out at the studio. Please note that WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs.
