Your New Role
Are you a skilled electrician ready to make a real impact? Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is on the lookout for a confident and organized Assistant Lead Electrician to help maintain, modify, and install electrical systems across our iconic studio site.
In this hands-on role, you’ll support the Lead Electrician in managing a talented team of electricians and coordinating subcontractors. You’ll be the go-to person for monitoring productivity and ensuring safe working practices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organizing, and executing maintenance tasks.
- Reporting progress and updates through various media outlets.
- Keeping accurate records, including compliance and sign-off sheets.
- Monitoring health and safety compliance.
- Ensuring continuous operation and legal compliance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Supervising small installations and modifications.
- Reacting to emergencies with effective solutions.
- Managing in-house rotas and holiday requests.
- Auditing stock levels to ensure critical spares are always available.
Qualifications & Experiences
We’re looking for candidates who possess:
- Experience with site plant equipment (training provided).
- Knowledge of industrial and commercial systems.
- Technological proficiency in Electrical and Automation systems.
- Full UK driving license.
Aspirational Qualifications & Experiences
If you have the following, we’d love to hear from you:
- Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
- BS 7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
- Knowledge of Electricity Supply Regulations and the Electricity at Work Act.
- JIB/ECS card and 2391 inspecting and testing certification (advantageous).
- NVQ Level 3.

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a world-class film and TV studio, featuring 20 sound stages, production offices, workshops, and more. Our on-site production rentals business, Warner Bros. Set Lighting & Rigging, provides state-of-the-art equipment for shoots worldwide.

Working Conditions
This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours will be carried out at the studio. Please note that WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs.
