Your New Role

Are you a qualified electrician ready to make a real impact? Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden is seeking a confident and organized Assistant Lead Electrician to help maintain, modify, and install electrical systems across our iconic studio site.

In this hands-on role, you’ll:

• Support the Lead Electrician in managing a skilled team of electricians.
• Coordinate subcontractors to maintain critical WB assets.
• Monitor productivity and uphold safe working practices.
• Organize workflows, coach team members, and resolve issues.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks or delegate them as needed.

Your Role Accountabilities

• Plan, organize, and execute maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records, including compliance and sign-off sheets.
• Monitor health and safety compliance.
• Ensure continuous operation and legal compliance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Supervise small installations and modifications.
• React to emergencies with effective solutions.
• Manage in-house rotas, holiday requests, and attendance.
• Audit stock levels to ensure critical spares are available.

Qualifications & Experiences

We’re looking for candidates with:

• Experience with site plant equipment (training provided).
• Working knowledge of industrial and commercial systems.
• Technological proficiency in Electrical and Automation systems.
• Full UK driving license.

Aspirational Qualifications & Experiences

If you have the following, it’s a plus:

• Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
• BS 7671 Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
• Awareness of Electricity Supply Regulations and the Electricity at Work Act.
• JIB/ECS card and 2391, inspecting and testing certification.
• NVQ Level 3.

Onsite Working

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours will be carried out at the studio. Please note that WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs.
