Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge? The Supervisor Plus role at Butlin's is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our operational standards are top-notch and our guests have an unforgettable experience.

In this hands-on position, you’ll report directly to the Manager and be the driving force behind our daily operational plans. Your mission? To ensure that our team is in the right place at the right time, managing fluctuating guest demands while maintaining high operational standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Be the go-to person, ensuring your team is effectively executing key tasks and objectives.
  • Coaching & Development: Support and coach your team to hit targets, such as retail upselling and promotions.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as needed.
  • Guest Experience: Monitor guest feedback and take action to enhance their experience.
  • Communication Champion: Ensure seamless communication between managers and teams, executing plans effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong connections across the resort and with central support teams.

Role Details

The Supervisor Plus will primarily focus on accommodation on our intake days (Monday and Friday) but will also flexibly support other departments throughout the week. Your adaptability will be key in ensuring our guests receive an amazing experience every day!

Key Focus Areas

1. Food Safety Champion

  • Lead by example in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure all team members follow correct procedures, including temperature checks and allergen management.

2. Creating a Warm, Welcoming Dining Experience

  • Greet guests with a friendly, personalized welcome that reflects the Butlin’s brand.
  • Maintain a comfortable environment where families feel relaxed and well looked after.

3. Coaching & Developing the Team

  • Provide on-shift coaching to help team members build confidence and capability.
  • Support training of new starters, ensuring they understand buffet standards and guest interaction expectations.

  • Leadership Skills: Excellent ability to coach and support your team in achieving key objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on audit and observation-based activities.
  • Guest-Facing Experience: Proven ability to handle a range of queries and complaints.
  • Sales Experience: Ability to generate new opportunities through promotions and initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working with multi-skilled teams to meet guest demands.
