What Will You Do?

As a Casual Residential Support Worker, your role will be dynamic and fulfilling. You will:

  • Support young people with their daily routines
  • Build positive relationships and become a trusted adult
  • Help them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
  • Ensure they feel safe, supported, and encouraged every day

What We’re Looking For

While experience with children or young people is beneficial, it’s not a requirement. We value the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Here’s what you need:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or equivalent (or a willingness to work towards it)
  • A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills
  • A commitment to completing an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)

Working Conditions

This is a casual position with a shift pattern on rotation, providing ad hoc cover. You’ll be part of a supportive and friendly team where your contributions are valued.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £12.79 - £14.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
  • A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night
