  • Daily Operations: Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Cultivate a collaborative and efficient kitchen team.
  • Pre-Shift Briefings: Allocate tasks and monitor staff attendance.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health regulations.
  • Quality Champion: Guarantee that chefs follow food specifications and cooking methods.
  • Taste Tests: Regularly assess food offerings to ensure quality.
  • Guest Forecasting: Review upcoming guest numbers and communicate with the team.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies while managing budget constraints.
  • Sanitation Standards: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Team Rotas: Handle scheduling in the absence of the Senior Kitchen Manager.
  • Cost Tracking: Monitor daily food costs using our Food Costs Tracker software.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to company standards.
  • Visible Leadership: Be present in the kitchen to support your team.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Address any equipment issues promptly.
  • Paperwork Management: Complete all relevant documentation and closing checks daily.
  • Training & Development: Lead the growth and progression of your team members.
