Your Rewarding Role
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll enjoy:
- Competitive Base Salary: Start with a base salary of £40,178, with potential on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed Overtime: Choose to work extra days at £30 per hour after your first month, giving you the flexibility to boost your earnings.
- Structured Work Hours: Enjoy a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Your Daily Adventure
Your day begins with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Advanced diagnostics
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and a complete tool set. Your technical skills will shine as you help keep our members moving safely and confidently.
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
