Are you ready to take on an exciting new role that puts you at the heart of our operations? The Supervisor Plus position at Butlin's is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you will be the driving force behind our operational success, ensuring that our high standards are met and that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Supervisor Plus, you will:

  • Lead the Team: Be the hands-on operational leader, ensuring your team is effectively executing key tasks and objectives.
  • Coach and Develop: Support your team in achieving targets, such as retail upselling and promotions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Take responsibility for CAFF audits and other departmental audits to maintain high standards.
  • Enhance Guest Experience: Monitor guest feedback and NPS, taking action to improve where necessary.
  • Communicate Effectively: Be the champion of communication, ensuring that key messages from management reach your team.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong connections across the resort and with central support teams.
  • Support People Development: Oversee onboarding and employee lifecycle tasks, ensuring a smooth experience for all team members.

Key Focus Areas

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also focus on:

1. Food Safety Champion

Lead by example in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

2. Creating a Warm, Welcoming Dining Experience

Ensure guests feel greeted and well looked after, creating a family-friendly atmosphere.

3. Coaching & Developing the Team

Provide on-shift coaching to help team members build confidence and capability.

4. Driving Sales & Spend Per Head

Encourage upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.

5. Effective Stock Practices

Maintain strong stock control and ensure compliance with stock handling procedures.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Leadership Skills: The ability to coach and support your team in achieving objectives.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong skills in managing audits and compliance.
  • Guest-Facing Experience: A background in customer service, handling queries and complaints effectively.
  • Sales Experience: Proven ability to generate new opportunities through promotions and initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Adaptability: The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.

Working Conditions

The Supervisor Plus role primarily covers accommodation on intake days (Monday and Friday) but requires flexibility to support other departments throughout the week. Your hands-on approach will ensure that we meet fluctuating guest demands while maintaining our operational standards.
