Your Role in the Maidstone Cluster
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you’ll cover areas like Maidstone, Medway, Sittingbourne, and more. You’ll work through a clearly planned schedule of appointments, focusing on delivering quality service without the stress of reactive callouts.
What You’ll Do
Your day will start with a clear digital schedule, and you’ll be responsible for:
- Routine servicing
- Diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
- In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop
- Providing member advice and recommendations
- Conducting vehicle safety checks aligned with RAC standards
With a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, and advanced diagnostics at your disposal, you’ll have everything you need to excel!

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
