Location & Hours
- Location: Cardiff (remote working available with occasional office visits)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexibility available)

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Drainage Engineer, you will:
- Assist the Drainage Lead in delivering a portfolio of projects on time and within budget, specializing in highway drainage and collaborating with Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFAs).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and statutory bodies to ensure project success.
- Lead technically challenging drainage projects, providing innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate daily tasks, check deliverables, and uphold quality standards.
- Support team development through mentoring, coaching, and sharing your expertise.
- Manage project delivery within established programmes and budgets, raising concerns promptly.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have experience in highway drainage, water utilities, and working with Lead Local Flood Authorities.
- You’re proficient in InfoDrainage and AutoCAD Civils3D, with strong technical skills.
- You hold a Civil Engineering degree (or similar qualification) and membership with a relevant engineering body.
- You have significant experience successfully leading diverse drainage projects.
- You’re a clear communicator who enjoys collaborating and supporting team development.
