Join Our Team as a Major Projects Electrical Lead!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Major Projects Electrical Lead to join our dynamic Building Services Design team based in Salford / Speke.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As our Major Projects Electrical Lead, you will:

  • Oversee and coordinate the electrical design for large, complex construction projects.
  • Act as the central point for technical excellence, team leadership, and client liaison.
  • Ensure sustainable, compliant, and cost-effective design delivery from concept through to construction.
  • Manage design teams, integrate different disciplines, and drive innovation for high-value projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Major Projects Mechanical Lead to deliver coordinated solutions.
  • Set and maintain quality standards for product delivery, aligning with industry practices.
  • Provide high-level technical advice in electrical building services engineering.
  • Participate in project design meetings to establish solutions and agree on concepts.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Are a Chartered Engineer and member of CIBSE or IET, with a degree in Mechanical Building Services or Electrical Engineering.
  • Have significant knowledge of the road tunnel industry.
  • Can communicate complex technical concepts in a way that’s easily understood by a wider audience.
  • Have experience in applying quality procedures and document control in engineering design.
  • Can meet the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requirements.

Working Conditions

Location: Salford / Speke
Hours: 40 hours per week - with some flexibility available!
