Your Role

As a Senior Revit Technician, you will lead the charge in delivering high-quality building services coordinated design and 3D modeling on large, complex multi-disciplinary projects. Your expertise will guide us from concept through to construction and handover (RIBA/BSRIA stages 2-6), ensuring we meet client requirements while driving innovation and quality.

Key Requirements

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Building Services Engineering or related field
  • Proven senior-level experience in delivering complex mechanical and electrical 2D and 3D layouts and BIM models
  • Strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in quality procedures, document control, and CDE platforms
  • Fluency in industry-related software and processes
  • Able to meet BPSS/security requirements

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute high-quality MEP coordinated designs and detailed layouts using 3D Revit and 2D CAD through RIBA/BSRIA stages 2-6
  • Act as the ‘lead coordinator’ in design meetings, liaising with MEP specialists and other disciplines
  • Provide senior-level technical advice in BIM/COBie/Revit/CAD activities
  • Drive innovation and sustainable design solutions
  • Prepare and monitor model coordination and drawing output delivery programs
  • Maintain standards and best practices while reporting to senior leaders
  • Develop 3D models and construction documentation from sketches or engineers' mark-ups
  • Identify and resolve clashes between architectural, structural, and MEP services
  • Manage parametric Revit families and project templates
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and quality assurance procedures
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and lead outsourced coordination teams as needed
  • Monitor risk and change control

Skills

  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit (3D) and AutoCAD (2D)
  • Experience in BIM coordination and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and construction methods
  • Able to interpret engineering sketches and design briefs
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in advanced design stages
  • Familiar with COBie deliverables and asset tagging
  • Able to model and coordinate underground services and infrastructure

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and 3D digital engineering
  • Proven experience with MEP digital drafting and coordination on complex projects
